Lights Out, Bats On: A Nighttime Discovery Journey at the UFA Palace

When the lights go out on Sunday, November 22, 2026, at the UFA Palace Düsseldorf, a special journey into the world of bats begins. The team from Bat NRW combines an interactive live show with impressive images, moving videos, and personal stories from the daily lives of dedicated bat protectors.

Fascinating Images on the Big Screen

The event opens eyes to a wildlife that usually eludes human sight. Breathtaking shots and captivating video sequences make the nocturnal flying artists visible and allow their habitats, movement patterns, and special abilities to be experienced immediately.

Personal Stories from Bat Conservation

The focus is not only on scientific facts but also on personal diary moments from the work of Bat NRW. Moving, funny, and sometimes quirky experiences give the multi-vision lecture an immediate, human perspective. This creates a varied stage experience between nature education, live show, and committed species protection.

Interactive, Informative, and Approachable

An information stand on-site invites participation and empathy. The event thus creates a lively theater atmosphere in the broadest sense: Not a classic production with acting and direction is at the forefront, but the direct encounter with people who are committed to protecting injured and found bats.

An Evening for Nature Lovers and Curious Explorers

The dramatic power of the evening lies in the alternation of large screen images, authentic stories, and immediate audience proximity. Families, nature enthusiasts, and anyone wanting to learn more about the Düsseldorf bat world will experience a vivid introduction to the nocturnal life of these fascinating animals. The ticket proceeds will be fully donated to Bat NRW e.V.

Conclusion: Bats Closer Than Ever
