In the autumn holiday project Boys Club, boys aged 14 to 18 find a safe space for real conversations, creative experiences, and shared time at FFT Düsseldorf. From October 19 to 23, 2026, participants will engage with friendship, emotions, solidarity, and their own identity.
Space for Real Conversations
Amidst social media pressure, stereotypes, and high expectations, there is often little room for the question of what truly matters to young people. In the Boys Club, it's about equal encounters and topics that concern youth in their daily lives. The group talks about how one can feel down, how mutual support works, and the significance of friendship and trust.
Getting Creative with Theater and Video
Together with the artists from onlinetheater.live, the youth will develop their own role models and implement their ideas using elements of theater. This will lead to the creation of their own videos and creative scenes. The combination of conversation, performance, and media work promotes expressiveness, self-reflection, and teamwork in an age-appropriate manner.
Learning Experience with Educational Value
The holiday project combines theater education and media work with social learning. Young people experience how personal thoughts can turn into a shared creative work.
