Boys Club: Autumn Holiday Project for Youth in Düsseldorf

In the Boys Club, boys aged 14 to 18 experience a creative autumn holiday week with theater, discussions, and their own media projects. At FFT Düsseldorf, a safe space is created for children's laughter, curiosity, shared time, and serious questions around friendship, feelings, solidarity, and personal identity.

Real Conversations Instead of Social Media Pressure

Many young people encounter daily messages online about self-optimization, success, and a supposedly strong presence. The Boys Club deliberately sets a different focus: Together with the artists from onlinetheater.live, participants discuss what truly matters in life. The encounter promotes social development, self-reflection, and a respectful community.

Theater, Videos, and Creative Learning Experiences

With elements of theater, the youth develop their own role models and create their own videos. The holiday project combines artistic work with media competence and pedagogically valuable conversation impulses. The young people can contribute their ideas, try out roles, and find answers to important questions together: How can we be there for one another? What helps when one feels unwell? And who do I want to be?

Aged Appropriately, Community-Oriented, and Free of Charge

The offer is age-appropriate for youth aged 14 to 18 and takes place in a small group of up to 50 participants. Participation is free of charge, but registration is required. Lunch is provided.
