I visited the library on January 22, 2026. The renovation is truly beautiful – it's the library of my childhood, and I was delighted to see it again. Unfortunately, my visit this time was disappointing: I was there with my baby and wanted to breastfeed in the children's reading corner. A dark-haired staff member, who was sitting at the training table, wanted me to get up because the table had to be kept clear for children to play on – even though there wasn't a single child there. When I explained that I would get up immediately as soon as a child arrived, my mother and I were still rudely told to leave. I found this very inconsiderate and not at all family-friendly!

A small but well-organized library, primarily for younger people, but not exclusively. Children will find plenty here, as will adults, including films and TV series. Very friendly staff members organized a fantastic scavenger hunt through the library with iPads for our school class, gaining several new readers in the process. There's also a coffee corner, and you can drop in anytime without a library card and read in peace :)

We regularly visit the library in Rath. Since our son is still small, the selection of children's books there is perfectly adequate. The staff is always incredibly friendly and helpful. The library is on the first floor and is quite small and charming. In the afternoons, it's full of children and teenagers who meet there to read and study. Especially now, on rainy autumn days and in winter, I enjoy spending time there with my children.

A wonderful library for the whole family. My children's library has been constantly evolving and updating for many years. I love it.
