Messe Düsseldorf | Dates 2026 & Parking

Messe Düsseldorf is much more than a single venue: The site in Düsseldorf is one of the most important trade fair addresses in Europe, combining a long history with a modern appearance, short distances, and an exceptionally high international relevance. The location was officially opened in 1971. Today, it covers a total area of 613,000 square meters, including 305,727 square meters of exhibition space, 262,727 square meters of hall space, and 43,000 square meters of outdoor space. Around 40 events take place annually in the 18 ground-level halls, including 20 leading global trade fairs in six areas of expertise, from mechanical engineering to trade and health to leisure and mobility. For SEO and visitor inquiries, the topics of dates, parking, access, and hall plans are particularly important, as these terms shape the search around Messe Düsseldorf in 2026. ([messe-duesseldorf.de](https://www.messe-duesseldorf.de/cgi-bin/md_home/lib/pub/object/downloadfile.cgi/MD_Fact_Sheet_Final_Results_2024_EN.pdf?lang=1&oid=8397&ticket=g_u_e_s_t))

The location scores with international appeal and practical accessibility. The trade fair grounds are directly connected via the A44, Düsseldorf Airport is only three kilometers away, and large parking areas, shuttle connections, and barrier-free services are available on site. At the same time, the importance of the site continues to grow: Hall 1 and the South entrance were modernized in 2020, and further projects are planned in the master plan until 2040. This way, Messe Düsseldorf combines historical significance with an infrastructure designed for large trade fairs, congresses, product presentations, and guest events. This mix of size, location, and program makes the site one of the strongest trade fair locations in Germany. ([messe-duesseldorf.de](https://www.messe-duesseldorf.de/de/kontakt_und_anreise/anreise))

Messe Düsseldorf Dates 2026: What is happening today and in the coming months

For searching for Messe Düsseldorf today or Messe Düsseldorf dates 2026, the official event calendar is the most important source. On April 13, 2026, the leading trade fairs Tube and wire will take place in Düsseldorf, both at the trade fair grounds with daily opening hours in a daily rhythm. Tube will be held from April 13, 2026, to April 17, 2026, and is the International Tube Trade Fair. wire will take place during the same period as the International Trade Fair for Wire and Cable. Thus, it is already clear at the beginning of the second quarter of 2026 that Messe Düsseldorf will once again be one of the central meeting points for the international industry. Those looking for ongoing events today will find not only a static calendar but a very active trade fair scene with precise dates, opening hours, and organizer information. ([messe-duesseldorf.de](https://www.messe-duesseldorf.de/de/messen_und_events/messen_national_und_international?event=logout&utd_country_code=e%2Chk%2Cind%2Ctr%2C%2Cksa%2Crch%2Cmex%2Cpe%2Ct%2Cgb%2Cj%2Cnl%2C%2Cco%2Cbr%2C%2Cf%2C%2Cd&utd_guest_event=&utd_national=all&utd_order=date&utd_order_direction=asc))

The other dates in 2026 are also important for visitors, exhibitors, and industry observers. In January, boot Düsseldorf is scheduled from January 17, 2026, to January 25, 2026; in February, EuroShop follows from February 22, 2026, to February 26, 2026; in March, ProWein will take place from March 15, 2026, to March 17, 2026, BEAUTY DÜSSELDORF from March 20, 2026, to March 22, 2026, and TOP HAIR - DIE MESSE from March 21, 2026, to March 22, 2026. In May, interpack will be added from May 7, 2026, to May 13, 2026. The official calendar can also be integrated as an internet calendar, for example via iCal or Outlook, and the fair explicitly points to the UpToDate newsletter for visitors who want to keep an eye on schedule changes. This is particularly relevant for SEO because search queries like Messe Düsseldorf February 2026, Messe Düsseldorf March 2026, or Messe Düsseldorf dates reflect exactly this dynamic, current planning. ([messe-duesseldorf.de](https://www.messe-duesseldorf.de/de/messen_und_events/messen_national_und_international?event=logout&utd_country_code=e%2Chk%2Cind%2Ctr%2C%2Cksa%2Crch%2Cmex%2Cpe%2Ct%2Cgb%2Cj%2Cnl%2C%2Cco%2Cbr%2C%2Cf%2C%2Cd&utd_guest_event=&utd_national=all&utd_order=date&utd_order_direction=asc))

Parking and Access to Messe Düsseldorf: A44, Airport, and Shuttle

Those looking to park at Messe Düsseldorf or search for the Messe Düsseldorf address quickly land at the specific access routes. For cars, the A44 runs directly along the trade fair grounds. Visitors can reach the large parking lots P1 and P2 via exit 29 Messe/Arena; separate access routes are also designated for the administration, the press club, and the Kurt-Schoop-Lounge. The address for the trade fair administration is Stockumer Höfe, Parking P2. For the press club and Kurt-Schoop-Lounge, Messeplatz 1 is recommended with access via Parking Garage P4. These clear assignments are important because the site is large and different access routes apply depending on the destination. The official coordinates of the location are also provided, which further facilitates navigation. ([messe-duesseldorf.de](https://www.messe-duesseldorf.de/de/kontakt_und_anreise/anreise))

The Messe Düsseldorf is also excellently positioned for air travel. Düsseldorf Airport is only three kilometers from the site and offers direct connections to 200 destinations in 50 countries and regions across four continents. Bus line 896 or a taxi will take visitors to the fair in just a few minutes. A special fare of 25 euros applies for trips between the airport and all entrances of Messe Düsseldorf. Additionally, there is a Caravan Center at the Messe parking lot P1 with showers, toilets, and waste disposal; overnight stays are only possible with a valid admission ticket. For visitor comfort, there is also a free shuttle that runs directly from the parking areas to the entrances. This keeps access manageable and practical even during large fairs, even when the site is heavily frequented. ([messe-duesseldorf.de](https://www.messe-duesseldorf.de/de/kontakt_und_anreise/anreise))

Special cases also play a role in parking planning. Messe Düsseldorf provides reserved disabled parking spaces directly in front of the North entrance on Arena Street. Furthermore, the official infrastructure refers to large capacities in the vicinity of the site; a total of 20,000 parking spaces are mentioned in the trade fair documents. For visitors with mobility restrictions, this is an important advantage because parking, access, and navigation on the site work together sensibly. Those arriving by their own vehicle benefit from a combination of highway access, clear signage, shuttle system, and additional services for special arrivals. This is exactly why the search term parking at Messe Düsseldorf is so strong: It represents not only free parking spaces but an entire traffic and visitor logistics system. Messe Düsseldorf Hall Plan: 18 Halls, Sizes, and Modern Spaces

The hall plan is one of the most important topics for visitors, exhibitors, and organizers. Messe Düsseldorf has 18 halls at ground level, providing a very usable area for large trade fairs and flexible event formats. According to the official overview, the hall area is 262,727 square meters, while the halls themselves range in size from 3,883 to 24,635 square meters depending on the building. The technical performance is particularly impressive: The halls can support up to 10,000 kilograms per square meter. The overview also includes halls with heights of up to 26 meters, which opens up enormous possibilities for large exhibits, vehicle presentations, machinery, stage elements, and complex trade fair stands. These space data clearly show why Messe Düsseldorf is regularly chosen for international leading trade fairs. ([messe-duesseldorf.de](https://www.messe-duesseldorf.de/de/gelaende_und_services/gelaende_und_hallen/gelaende_und_halllen))

The hall plan is not only a static orientation aid but part of a modern visitor guidance system. An interactive site and hall plan is available on the official website, which facilitates orientation across the entire area. The new Hall 1 with South entrance is particularly striking. The building was extensively modernized between 2017 and 2020 and has been a visible landmark of the company since its completion in 2020. The translucent canopy measures 7,800 square meters, is about 20 meters high, and offers a generous forecourt with a length of 170 meters and a width of 93 meters. In the entrance area, more than 2,000 square meters are available for ticket counters, cloakrooms, and other services. There is also an underground garage with 300 spaces, and the hall itself can be used as an event venue for up to 10,000 people in row seating outside of trade fair times. ([halls.messe-duesseldorf.de](https://halls.messe-duesseldorf.de/?utm_source=openai))

Looking ahead, the site remains in motion. The master plan 2040 provides for the gradual modernization of numerous halls. Messe Düsseldorf mentions Hall 9, the administration center, and other areas such as Halls 3, 15, 16, and 17. For visitors, this means: The hall plan of today is already highly modern, but the development of the site continues. Search queries like Messe Düsseldorf hall plan or Messe Düsseldorf today show that users are not just looking for a building but a concrete orientation on the site. Understanding the spatial structure allows for better planning of routes, targeted entrance selection, and sensible use of the combination of halls, congress center, and outdoor space. Boot Düsseldorf and the Most Important Leading Trade Fairs Throughout the Year

The keyword focus Messe Düsseldorf boot is no coincidence, as boot Düsseldorf is one of the most well-known events at the site. The fair lists boot Düsseldorf for the period from January 17, 2026, to January 25, 2026, as the 57th International Boat Show with daily opening hours from 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM. This example shows how strongly the location is geared towards international leading trade fairs. For visitors, boot is not just a single trade fair date but proof that Messe Düsseldorf is just as relevant in the leisure and lifestyle sector as it is in the industrial environment. The official schedule also makes it clear that the calendar is densely packed early in the year, establishing Messe Düsseldorf as a recurring pace-setter for many industries. ([messe-duesseldorf.de](https://www.messe-duesseldorf.de/de/messen_und_events/messen_national_und_international?event=logout&utd_country_code=e%2Chk%2Cind%2Ctr%2C%2Cksa%2Crch%2Cmex%2Cpe%2Ct%2Cgb%2Cj%2Cnl%2C%2Cco%2Cbr%2C%2Cf%2C%2Cd&utd_guest_event=&utd_national=all&utd_order=date&utd_order_direction=asc))

In addition to boot Düsseldorf, other leading trade fairs shape the trade fair year 2026. EuroShop runs from February 22, 2026, to February 26, 2026, and is the World's No. 1 Retail Trade Fair. In March, ProWein will take place from March 15, 2026, to March 17, 2026, BEAUTY DÜSSELDORF from March 20, 2026, to March 22, 2026, and TOP HAIR - DIE MESSE from March 21, 2026, to March 22, 2026. In May, interpack will be on the calendar from May 7, 2026, to May 13, 2026. This mix shows the thematic range of the location: trade, wine, beauty, hairdressing, processing and packaging, as well as industry, mobility, and leisure. This diversity is a main reason why search queries like Messe Düsseldorf February 2026, Messe Düsseldorf March 2026, or Messe Düsseldorf dates 2026 frequently lead to the calendar and event page of the fair. Those keeping an eye on the year-round schedule understand Messe Düsseldorf as a platform where not only large events take place but where industry cycles, product innovations, and international contacts converge. ([messe-duesseldorf.de](https://www.messe-duesseldorf.de/de/messen_und_events/messen_national_und_international?event=logout&utd_country_code=e%2Chk%2Cind%2Ctr%2C%2Cksa%2Crch%2Cmex%2Cpe%2Ct%2Cgb%2Cj%2Cnl%2C%2Cco%2Cbr%2C%2Cf%2C%2Cd&utd_guest_event=&utd_national=all&utd_order=date&utd_order_direction=asc))

Messe Düsseldorf is particularly strong in six areas of expertise: machinery, plants, and equipment; trade, crafts, and services; medicine and health; lifestyle and beauty; mobility; leisure. Many of the leading trade fairs that make the location internationally known fall within these areas. Based on official data, Messe Düsseldorf counts 20 leading global trade fairs as part of its core profile, and around 40 events take place annually directly at the location. Therefore, those searching for programs, dates, or trade fair calendars do not encounter a single event but a dense network of events with an international focus. The ability to subscribe to calendar dates as iCal or Outlook makes planning easier for visitors and professionals. ([messe-duesseldorf.de](https://www.messe-duesseldorf.de/cgi-bin/md_home/lib/pub/object/downloadfile.cgi/MD_Fact_Sheet_Final_Results_2024_EN.pdf?lang=1&oid=8397&ticket=g_u_e_s_t))

Messe Düsseldorf GmbH: History, Size, and International Significance

Messe Düsseldorf GmbH represents a combination of historical development and global reach. The location was officially opened in 1971, and the fair now refers to around 60 years of experience in organizing international events. This long development is not just a number but an essential part of the site profile: The grounds have been expanded, modernized, and optimized for various industry requirements over decades. The character as a trade fair company is also reflected in the structure of the events. The site hosts not only in-house events but also guest events and congresses. In the official data for 2024, 14 in-house events and 8 guest events are mentioned at the Düsseldorf location. This makes it clear that Messe Düsseldorf GmbH operates both as an organizer and as a platform for other formats. ([messe-duesseldorf.de](https://www.messe-duesseldorf.de/cgi-bin/md_home/lib/pub/object/downloadfile.cgi/MD_Fact_Sheet_Final_Results_2024_EN.pdf?lang=1&oid=8397&ticket=g_u_e_s_t))

The economic and international significance of the location is reflected in visitor and exhibitor numbers. For 2024, Messe Düsseldorf reports 24,637 exhibitors and a total of 1,040,650 visitors. For in-house events, the share of international exhibitors was 76.5 percent, and the share of international visitors was 39 percent. This is a clear indication of how strongly the location is integrated into international markets. Additionally, Messe Düsseldorf has 78 international offices for 142 countries, including nine international subsidiaries. This explains why search queries with Messe Düsseldorf GmbH often refer not only to the company name but also to the worldwide trade fair activity behind the name. Especially for industries with a global network, the Düsseldorf location is therefore a central address. ([messe-duesseldorf.de](https://www.messe-duesseldorf.de/cgi-bin/md_home/lib/pub/object/downloadfile.cgi/MD_Fact_Sheet_Final_Results_2024_EN.pdf?lang=1&oid=8397&ticket=g_u_e_s_t))

The local anchoring is also remarkable. The city of Düsseldorf holds a 56.6 percent stake in the trade fair company, and the connection between the city, region, and trade fair has developed into a permanent economic building block. Various areas collaborate on the site, from trade fair organization to guest events to services for visitors and exhibitors. For Google search, this is relevant because terms like Messe Düsseldorf address, Messe Düsseldorf GmbH, or Messe Düsseldorf 2025 often seek exactly this institutional classification. To understand the fair, one should not only view it as a venue but as an internationally networked trade fair organization with a strong regional foundation. ([messe-duesseldorf.de](https://www.messe-duesseldorf.de/cgi-bin/md_home/lib/pub/object/downloadfile.cgi/MD_Fact_Sheet_Final_Results_2024_EN.pdf?lang=1&oid=8397&ticket=g_u_e_s_t))

Accessibility, Services, and Practical Visitor Information

A large trade fair site only works well if paths, entrances, and service points are clearly organized. Messe Düsseldorf shows many practical strengths here. According to the official accessibility page, 18 halls are at ground level, and the two upper floors of Hall 7 and higher rooms in the congress centers are accessible by elevator. All halls have accessible restrooms, and there are ground-level restaurants and bistros available. This is important for visitors with mobility restrictions as well as for families, larger groups, or professionals with tight schedules. The Messecenter directly at the trade fair high-rises is also particularly helpful, housing services such as postal service, telephone service, travel agency, and banks. ([messe-duesseldorf.de](https://www.messe-duesseldorf.de/de/gelaende_und_services/gelaende_und_hallen/barrierefreiheit))

Practical support also includes wheelchair rentals at the North entrance. Visitors can borrow wheelchairs from the first aid station, with prior registration recommended. Additionally, the fair refers to reserved disabled parking spaces directly in front of the North entrance on Arena Street. Together with good access to parking areas, shuttle connections, and short distances between the halls, this creates a visitor profile that remains manageable even during large fairs. For many search queries, such as Messe Düsseldorf parking or Messe Düsseldorf today, this combination of orientation, comfort, and clear service points is decisive. ([messe-duesseldorf.de](https://www.messe-duesseldorf.de/de/gelaende_und_services/gelaende_und_hallen/barrierefreiheit))

Information offerings are also very useful for planning. Messe Düsseldorf provides a digital 360° tour of the grounds and offers up-to-date information on access, site and hall plans, and technical guidelines for stand construction. This targets not only visitors but also exhibitors, organizers, and partners who need to plan precisely. For SEO and content planning, this is important because it accurately reflects the search intent behind terms like address, hall plan, parking, dates, and today. Messe Düsseldorf is therefore not only large but also very well documented and service-oriented. This mix makes the location so attractive in digital searches.

This is a massive convention center spanning several Halls. In a full day, I couldn't get around the whole show, which really makes it ideally suited to this purpose. Everything was relatively clean, and there were food kiosks and trucks throughout the property. Good experience overall.

Visited Messe Düsseldorf for the MEDICA 2025 exhibition and it was an amazing experience. The place was extremely crowded, but the organization was impressive and everything ran smoothly. The halls are massive, and you can easily spend an entire day exploring new medical technologies, innovations, and meeting professionals from all over the world. It’s definitely the perfect venue for such a global event. Looking forward to coming again!

Went to the a+a in 2025, huge venue, very well maintained, easily located and to get to by taxi, train, car, foot or e-scooter. There were no lines for entrance, staff were kind, plus there is a coat check in right before the entrance which saved us some trouble.
