Winter sports excitement at curling in Düsseldorf
On Thursday, December 10, 2026, the flower wholesale market in Düsseldorf-Derendorf transforms into a meeting place for winter team sports. Right next to the market, a heated tent with four curling lanes awaits friends, families, clubs, and companies. The sporting evening begins at 4:00 PM, filled with competition, fan chants, and socializing.
Four lanes, one goal: hit the target
Curling combines precision, strategy, and team spirit. On four lanes, every push determines the next game situation: the stone glides over the lane, seeks the ideal line, and brings the team closer to the target. Short distances, direct duels, and quick tactical decisions create vibrant game excitement.
Heated tent and winter atmosphere
The heated tent creates pleasant conditions for the winter sports evening. While points are collected on the lanes, music, a bar, and catering provide a relaxed stadium atmosphere. A food truck offers pinsa, soups, waffles, and mulled wine. Thus, the event combines sporting ambition with pre-Christmas enjoyment.
Active together in Derendorf
The offering is aimed at circles of friends, families, companies, clubs, and other groups. Curling stones are available on-site, including for children. Those who wish to design the evening exclusively can book the facility as a closed group. Free parking directly in front of the door facilitates arrival.
Conclusion: Winter fun with competitive character
At the curling event at the Flower Wholesale Market Düsseldorf, sporting challenges, sociable team dynamics, and winter coziness come together. Anyone who wants to experience tactical precision, shared cheering, and warm refreshments under a tent roof will find a special evening in Derendorf.
