Winter Curling Fun in a Heated Tent
On Sunday, December 6, 2026, the area at the Flower Market in Düsseldorf-Derendorf will transform into a meeting point for sporty winter evenings. Curling combines precision, team spirit, and a sociable stadium atmosphere – regardless of whether cold winds, rain, or snow awaits outside.
Four Lanes, One Goal: The Perfect Shot
On four curling lanes, circles of friends, families, and colleagues will compete against each other. Curling stones are provided on-site, and special children's stones make it easier for younger guests to join in. No prior knowledge is required: What matters are feel, concentration, and the right strategy when throwing.
Sporting Excitement and Winter Coziness
As the curling stone glides over the lane and the audience follows the decisive attempt, the field tension builds with a genuine competitive character. After each round, tactical considerations, precise placements, and spontaneous cheers take turns. The heated tent protects against the weather while simultaneously creating a relaxed atmosphere for shared winter moments.
Glühwein, Pinsa, and Waffles
Between rounds, the catering offers new energy. Rheincurry serves Pinsa, changing soups, and waffles with toppings, among other items. There are also beers, soft drinks, various spritz variations, and Glühwein. This way, the outing combines sporting activity with a sociable evening in the heart of Derendorf.
Convenient Access and Barrier-Free
The Flower Market at Ulmenstraße 275 is accessible via tram lines 705 and 707, as well as bus line 729. Free parking is available on-site. The facility is barrier-free and suitable for private groups, associations, and corporate events.
