Oğulcan Kuş: Make Sense – contemporary art at Anna Laudel

With Make Sense, the Anna Laudel gallery in Düsseldorf presents the second solo exhibition of Oğulcan Kuş with the gallery and also his first presentation in Germany. The exhibition invites a focused examination of the works and opens a personal approach to the contemporary art of an internationally oriented gallery program.

A new art experience in Düsseldorf

The exhibition unfolds its effect in the historical gallery space of Anna Laudel on Mühlenstraße. The exhibition atmosphere combines urban closeness with the tranquility of a carefully curated presentation. At the center is the encounter with the works of Oğulcan Kuş: forms, materials, and ideas interact in a dialogue that stimulates personal aesthetic experience.

First presentation in Germany

Make Sense marks an important step in the exhibition history of the artist. After his second solo exhibition with Anna Laudel, the show in Düsseldorf is his first presentation in Germany. This offers art enthusiasts the opportunity to discover Oğulcan Kuş's position for the first time in a German exhibition context and to experience his artistic language directly.

Curating and cultural education

Anna Laudel sees itself as a dynamic center for contemporary art and presents artists with different cultural backgrounds, working methods, and media. The exhibition makes this curatorial stance visible: it combines individual artistic perspectives with an open approach to international contemporary art. Each examination of the works becomes an opportunity to question familiar viewing habits and to uncover new contexts.

A visit between perception and reflection

The title Make Sense refers to the process of understanding and categorizing. Visitors encounter an exhibition that not only conveys visual impressions but also creates space for their own questions. The art experience arises from the interplay of spatial effect, materiality, and personal perception.

Conclusion: Discover contemporary art live

Make Sense promises an inspiring encounter with Oğulcan Kuş and a special insight into the international work of the Anna Laudel gallery. The artist's first presentation in Germany connects current art, cultural education, and aesthetic experience. A visit is worthwhile for anyone who wants to not only observe contemporary positions but also experience them attentively and directly.
