On November 4, 2026, the Peter Tedden Gallery in Düsseldorf will present the exhibition Message in a Bottle by Carl Hager. The visit combines current art, focused contemplation, and the special atmosphere of an established gallery in Düsseldorf's Old Town.
Between Object, Image, and Imagination
Carl Hager, born in Duisburg in 1965, studied cultural education and later at the Art Academy Düsseldorf, where he received his diploma as a master student of Alfonso Hüppi in 1999. His artistic practice moves between object art, drawing, installation, and enigmatic visual worlds.
An Artist Rooted in Düsseldorf
Hager's works have been exhibited in numerous exhibitions and project spaces. He has a long-standing connection with the Peter Tedden Gallery: He previously showcased the exhibition Noch there in 2014 together with Simone Letto. The gallery has been particularly dedicated to promoting contemporary art from the surroundings of the Art Academy Düsseldorf since 1992.
Live Atmosphere for Art Lovers
The exhibition invites visitors to let forms, materials, and visual ideas have an impact without predefined interpretations. In the calm acoustics of the gallery space, a concentrated art experience arises, where details, contrasts, and the sensory presence of the works guide the gaze step by step.
