Vincent Pinn Group brings fresh jazz pressure to the Jazz Forge

On Saturday, November 28, 2026, a modern jazz quartet will meet in Düsseldorf at one of the city's most exciting venues: the Jazz Forge. Vincent Pinn leads his group with trumpet and flugelhorn through a program that blends influences from classical music, new music, and avant-garde jazz. The New Faces series stands for young talents and new sound ideas; the Jazz Forge describes the evening as a stage for special, diverse energy. Between Structure and Freedom

The musical profile is clearly defined: works by the bandleader are set against free improvisations, lyrical-romantic sounds meet percussive rhythms. This creates the friction that supports a good jazz concert: precise synchronization, open form, and lively stage performance. For the audience, this promises not a rigid set, but a concert experience with atmosphere, tension, and room for surprising twists. A Place with Intimacy, Sound, and Character

The Jazz Forge is considered an intimate venue with 200 seats, founded in 1995 and hosting around 150 concerts annually. The location in Düsseldorf-Bilk, the strong acoustics, and the club character create exactly the framework in which fine dynamics and intricate arrangements can unfold. According to the event information, the club is mostly step-free accessible, with a barrier-free WC and concerts with free seating; doors typically open at 7:30 PM for 8:30 PM events. What Makes This Evening Special

Vincent Pinn will bring a quartet with Simon Below on piano, Nico Klöffer on bass, and Marius Lamm on drums to the stage. The music combines chamber music precision with improvisational openness. This exact mix fits the New Faces series, which promotes young formations with affordable ticket prices and serves as a showcase for the big names of tomorrow.
