Four musical perspectives for the third Advent
On Sunday, December 13, 2026, the Filmwerkstatt Düsseldorf will transform into a focused resonance space for contemporary music. Under the title Three Candles: Concert Evening, Clover&Associates presents four performances from the music scene around the Kunstakademie Düsseldorf and the extended circle of friends.
Winter sound between Kunstakademie and concert stage
Viola and Nil, Sjek Lomber, Viktoria Feierabend, and Grain Mill bring different artistic signatures together for a shared evening. The dramaturgy thrives on contrasts: four projects, four stage perspectives, and a concert format that combines intimacy, openness, and musical discovery.
Four performances, one atmospheric evening
The Filmwerkstatt provides the perfect setting for an immediate concert experience. Between concentrated sound, experimental stage performance, and the special audience atmosphere of a small venue, an evening is created for all who wish to experience contemporary music outside standardized concert formats.
Clover&Associates as a platform for new music
Behind the concert stands Clover&Associates, a Düsseldorf-based cassette label and a platform for concerts as well as public interventions. The project was initiated in 2023 by Mick Schmitt and connects releases with live formats that give space to young and independent positions.
Conclusion: Advent atmosphere with artistic edge
Three Candles: Concert Evening promises a personal and varied live evening with four performances from the current Düsseldorf music scene. Those seeking new sounds, an intimate concert atmosphere, and immediate stage moments will experience the third Advent at the Filmwerkstatt from a special musical perspective.
