The ultimate Nikolaus party with Doc Martin & the Martinis
On December 5, 2026, the Gleiswerk Düsseldorf-Benrath transforms into a musical festival hall for a good cause. At the third big Nikolaus charity concert by Doc Martin & the Martinis, exuberant audience atmosphere, live music, and social engagement come together.
Pop, Rock, and Disco with maximum energy
Doc Martin & the Martinis combine original compositions with well-known songs from the 1970s to the 1990s. The repertoire ranges from Ray Charles, Supertramp, and Toto to Robbie Williams, Earth, Wind & Fire, Peter Gabriel, and The Jungle Book. The stylistic mix ensures an evening of concerts with changing sound colors, danceable grooves, and many sing-along moments.
A band that gives everything live
The formation stands for a fully live stage performance without playbacks, backing tracks, samples, or autotune. Vocals, keys, saxophone, bass, guitar, trumpet, and drums merge into a versatile band sound. A synchronized lighting system with moving heads, LED bars, gobos, fog, and other stage effects enhances the concert atmosphere.
Charity with tradition
The first two Nikolaus charity concerts at the Capitol Theater Düsseldorf raised a total of 12,800 euros for two aid projects of the Diakonie Düsseldorf. The third edition continues this connection of music, community, and support. The celebration takes place right next to the train station at Gleiswerk Düsseldorf-Benrath.
After the concert, the party continues
After the live act, DJ Crazy Horst takes over and keeps the audience on the dance floor with danceable beats. Singing along, dancing, and wearing Nikolaus hats are explicitly part of the evening program. The event is supported and presented by Roman Frieling and Gleiswerk.
Conclusion: Concert joy for a good cause
The Nikolaus Charity Concert brings together an energetic live atmosphere, well-known pop, rock, and disco classics, and a strong social cause. Those who enjoy experiencing music together with others and supporting a good cause will find a special concert evening at Gleiswerk Düsseldorf-Benrath. Put on your Nikolaus hat and be part of the live experience.
