Detroit Boom-Bap and precise storytelling at Bilker Bunker
On Thursday, December 3, 2026, Apollo Brown & Skyzoo: The Easy Luxury Tour brings together soul-infused Boom-Bap productions and artfully told Hip-Hop stories. The Schleuse Zwei in Bilker Bunker creates an intimate concert atmosphere with close proximity to the stage.
Luxury Tax: Success, Ambition, and Life on the Streets
Apollo Brown and Skyzoo present their collaborative album Luxury Tax, the much-anticipated continuation of their celebrated project The Easy Truth. Apollo Brown's powerful, soul-infused production forms the sonic foundation for Skyzoo's detailed and narratively structured lyrics.
The focus is on themes such as the price of success, personal ambition, and the economy of life on the streets. Classic soundscapes merge with precise rap and an energetic live performance.
A Concert Evening for Hip-Hop Purists
Schleuse Zwei is located in the basement of Bilker Bunker and serves as a unique venue for live music in Düsseldorf. The raw concrete of the historic bunker building meets a concentrated concert atmosphere, where beats, voices, and audience energy become immediately tangible.
Meduza Akir from Cologne is announced as the support act. The concert is directed towards vinyl lovers, Boom-Bap fans, and anyone who wants to experience Hip-Hop with musical craftsmanship, classic production, and compelling storytelling.
Entry, Start, and Tickets
Entry begins at 19:00, with the concert starting at 20:00. Tickets are available in advance from 25 Euros plus fees; a total price starting from 28.20 Euros is listed on Eventim. The event is announced as a medium-sized event with up to 200 guests.
